The MC2231 is a support sports bra built from Brushed 220 gsm knit and offered in 9 stock colours. It is designed to be ordered alongside a matching legging or bike short so the top and bottom come out of the same dye lot and the colour matches exactly.
The bra is cut with a wide underband and shaped front panels rather than a simple tube, which is what stops the band riding up when the arms go overhead. Elastic is encased rather than exposed, so there is no raw edge against the skin and no visible elastic line under a fitted top.

The Brushed family is a 220 gsm 75% Nylon / 25% Spandex knit with a lightly brushed face that gives a soft, slightly matte surface. It is the warmer of our two house knits and the one most buyers choose for autumn, winter and everyday studio ranges.
Because the brush lifts the surface fibres, the fabric also helps with opacity: pale and mid-tone colourways hold coverage better in this weight than in a lighter knit, which is why we recommend it when a buyer is nervous about a light colour.

The brushed face gives the warm, slightly matte handfeel that reads as premium in a mid-price range.

Does the brushed surface pill?
Pilling is controlled by the fabric quality and by wash care. We recommend washing inside out in cold water and drying flat, which is what we put on the care label.
